Orison WellesWith everything I have going on, this painting took almost 2 years to finish. I worked piecemeal as I found the time. This was started early 2015 and I finished September 2017.It features one of my favorite movie directors, Orison Welles. A controversial figure at the time. According to the American Film Institution, Orison created one of the greatest American movies ever made, Citizen Kane (1941).This was my attempt at a new style. It's mostly oil, with spray paint (the white dots), and acrylic used in the background. The dimensions are 48 x 48 inches.Still not sure if I like the end result but the concept was fun to paint. :)
